Our journey began in 1990, when our CEO first began fishing local waters of Chicagoland. Fishing has always been more than just a hobby for us—it’s a form of art in motion. Every fish leaping out of the water, every sunrise and sunset creates unforgettable moments that stay with us long after the moments end. At The Catch Collective, we aim to capture and memorialize those experiences in every product we create.

Our product designer has decades of fishing experience and grew up in a family of artists. His aesthetic sense coupled with deep fishing knowledge enables him to create incredible designs. 

While Chicago may not be the first place you’d think of for a fishing apparel company, the area offers an incredible variety of fishing opportunities. From small streams to the vast waters of Lake Michigan, Chicagoland boasts incredible fishing, from panfish to salmon, making it an angler’s hidden gem.

Our story began with simple fishing trips—riding bikes to the local river with a rod and a bucket of worms. Over time, this evolved into lure and fly fishing and upgrading from a blow-up raft to a boat capable of exploring Lake Michigan’s depths. These countless adventures, stories, and memories have inspired The Catch Collective and continue to shape our designs.
